In a twist on the bad boy/rich girl storyline, Kason and Ady are drawn together in spite of their differences. Kason may not have the best home address, but he’s got high hopes for his future. It’s a future made even more uncertain by a secret he’s keeping.

Ady is an innocent teen who finds Kason to be very mysterious. Despite his attempts to stay away, the sparks fly. As Ady struggles to find a place at the new school and process her father’s new family, she and Kason create a strong bond. Their love gets put to the test when Ady learns about Kason’s secret.

There’s plenty of angst as they deal with the aftermath, trying to determine how to move forward with a broken foundation. The author does an excellent job building the tension, including an unexpected cliffhanger that just might drive the final wedge between Kason and Ady.
