CHRISSY
As a social worker, I've seen my fair share of broken families, bad relationships, and worlds of regret.
Because of that the last thing, I'll ever do is let down my guard, or open up my heart.
As for men, bring 'em on.
I love a good man in my bed, but I’m not looking for forever or happily ever after.
That's not my style.
Please me, and leave.
These are my rules.
There’s no bending or breaking them.
Even when he pulls out all the stops,
I'm not budging.
They’re set in stone.
Or should I say, “Rock?”
ROCK
I'm chiseling away at that hard exterior, one pebble at a time.
I don’t negotiate, I don't share, and
I sure as hell don’t wait my turn.
Despite her smart mouth and fiery ways,
I still want her.
But this "friends with benefits" deal of hers is bullshit.
I don't play that way.
At least, I don't plan to anymore.
I will own every ounce of her.
That body.
That mind.
That heart.
It will all be mine.

Great series - full of yummy MC men and strong chicks !! I have enjoyed all the stories and I can't think of a fave offhand because they all had their great parts and I love how they all connect. I do feel at times there could have been more detail or more depth to the pieces we got from Chrissy and Rock but at the same time I appreciate a book that I can read and enjoy in a day without issue !! Not to mention being the 7th book in the MC series there isn't much background or side story we need !! My most fave part of this was that it was Chrissy who Rock had to break !! I love the strong willed chicks that THINK they can avoid a strong willed man !! It was comical to see the lengths Rock went to prove himself  yet at the same time it didn't take much because she was in denial to start !! Not only does Rock and the MC bring danger and suspense to the story BUT Chrissy's job as a social worker creates quite a few issues that will have you holding your breath. There was a certain part I did not expect and it was devastating but again I try to appreciate the way authors present their story so I forgive Alexis ONCE AGAIN for breaking my heart !! LOL !! Looking forward to Torn.
